Company Description
20|20 Lawrence is Zocalo’s newest project, offering Downtown living with Zocalo’s continued commitment to sustainability, top-quality finishes, construction and dramatic presentation.
20|20 Lawrence will be Silver LEED-certified – likely achieving the first such level in the Rocky Mountain West. Units range from 1,000 to 1,760 square feet and provide great views of Downtown Denver and the Rocky Mountains. 20|20 Lawrence will not only have a 50,000-watt solar photovoltaic system, but will offer the opportunity for our buyers to purchase their own 2 kilowatt photovoltaic system. Owners may expect a 70-percent reduction in utility bills, making 20|20 Lawrence units among the first Near-Zero Energy condos in the country. Based on careful selection of low Volatile-Organic-Compound-containing materials, these units will have some of highest-quality indoor air. Higher-cost yet standard finishes such as wool carpets create this higher-quality air.
Green Credentials
20|20 generates Renewable Energy: The 50,000 watts of electrical power that will be produced from a roof-mounted photovoltaic system will represent one of the largest solar photovoltaic arrays in Colorado. This system is projected to offset the power demand of the entire building’s common space resulting in financial savings for the HOA and energy savings for the traditional power grid.
To reduce 20|20’s impact on local landfills, construction waste such as concrete, wood and metal will be diverted away from the traditional waste stream to be recycled at area facilities.
By using highly efficient appliances, installing high-tech, insulated glass and utilizing passive solar measures such as well-positioned balconies, 20|20 will be 30% more efficient than similar buildings.
